Join us to learn and practice the importance of Self-Defense. We will focus on the mental awareness needed in self-defense as well as the physical; our physical techniques range from boxing and kick-boxing to breaking holds and defensive positioning. All of our Self Defense workshops lead up to a finale of sparring techniques with a generous volunteer dressed in our "mugger suit!"
You will get to practice all of your newly learned and highly practiced techniques on a real-live dummy! This exercise is not only eye-opening and one hell of a workout, but it's also a lot of fun!
