Yoga has been around for over 5000 years! Hmm, must be something good going on there. As an old endurance, weightlifting, if it doesn't hurt it's not a workout, nut I'm here to tell you not only will yoga kick your ass it will save your ass!!!
Yoga Addresses some often neglected critical areas--flexibility, balance and stress relief. You’re probably thinking the primary focus of Yoga is the physical, however the real bonus here is all that applies to your mind as well. The original purpose of yoga, some say, is that physical activity prepares and puts the body into a meditative state. We’ve found this to be an immediate benefit – a calming of the mind and relaxation of the body. We don’t want to mislead you; Yoga is challenging and definitely qualifies as a “workout," however, the workouts come in many forms.
So like most worthwhile things in life, we encourage you to join us as we grow our Yoga practice here at the gym. We have both heated and regular classes and desire to add more to the schedule as attendance increases.
As life sometimes seems like it gets busier and busier and we can’t get off the roller coaster enough, that is when it's time to make a change. Make that change a positive one by taking care of yourself, first and foremost. So whatever your age, circumstance or current “if only but” obstacle, join with us as we continue to find more balance, flexibility and fun in our Yoga here at Regan's Motivated Fitness.
