This storm just will not quit. Five days after this doozy of a storm first started torturing us, we are still dealing with the repercussions. Boston Public Schools are closed today for the third straight school day but the rest of the City is trying to continue with business as usual; notice the jealousy in my tone of any teachers who happen to read this. But like I said, for the rest of us, we need to try our best to get back in to the rhythm of everyday life. I pushed it off as long as I could but I jumped back into the swing of things with a 6:00am Spin Class this morning; A Surprisingly good turnout for the class saw everyone involved get a great workout in to spite how hard it was to get out of bed and into the gym so early on a cold, post-blizzard morning.
Sure, maybe a blizzard is a sound reason to avoid the gym for a few days and indulge in a cocktail and a slice of pizza or two (guilty on both accounts), but don't let that blizzard ruin the progress you've made over the past weeks/months. You had your fun with the snow, you got the complaints of shoveling for endless hours out of your system, now its time to leave it behind and get back to it.
Leave the car at home and get to trekking down here to get back into your own rhythm; you may slip on your way but have the courage to get back up and on your way to success. No matter how many times you fail, the success is what you'll remember...
