1. Making a Decision
Knowing what you want is the first step to getting what you want; that’s called making a decision. We can all do that. I know I myself have reached that point at one time or another when all I could think was “who is that guy in my mirror? Who is that guy stretching out all my clothes? Who is that guy neck-deep in a Brigham’s container?” When you reach a point like this is when you make that decision to change your habbits.
2. Making a Plan
After you’ve made that decision to get back in shape, the next step is to plan accordingly. If you just go to the gym with the mentality that you’ll figure out what to do when you get there, chances are you won’t see the results that you want to see. This step is where you sit down and take the time to plan how you will accomplish your feat. You are worth it! Think about it. When was the last time you took some time to write out a plan so you could make you and your fitness the priority it should be - Priority #1! Take 15 minutes out of today’s 1,440 minutes and start to plan for you. We can help! Schedule a half hour session with me and I’ll not only get you going, I’ll help you commit to your specific plan of action.
3. Taking Action!!!
The third step to your success is the willingness to do what’s necessary to get what you want, that’s called action. It’s this step where we often start to dilute or talk ourselves out of what we want. We’ve all been there, done that; but if you’ve done the first 2 steps, then action is all you need to get to your new and better life. The plan is set; you now know what you need to do; Now Go out and do it! No more Excuses!!
We are planning some events, like triathlons, road races, and bike rides, this year which would be great goals and also help you get into great shape. If your primary goal is to lose weight then training for one of these events will help make that happen. We will help you plan, train and stay committed. Let us help you reach your BEST you!
